This market will resolve to “YES” if Base (the Layer-2 network built on OP Stack and backed by Coinbase) officially announces the launch of its own token specifically on December 17 (ET). Any clear, public announcement from official Base communication channels—such as their website, verified social accounts, blog posts, or press releases—will count. If no such announcement is made on that date, the market will resolve to “NO.” Rumors, leaks, unverified insider claims, or speculative articles do not qualify unless Base directly confirms them through official channels. The announcement must occur within the 24-hour window of December 17, ET time.
